The sun is burning up. Everything is dying.
A world where ash falls from the sky in place of rain and snow, where humans no longer tread and animals have reclaimed ruined towns and cities which were once theirs.
But survival is hard in this broken land. And even harder for the cats of Ash City.
With limited prey, the cats are beginning to fight amongst themselves, slaughtering each other over fresh kills, or just for the smallest of things.
With everything dying around them, how can the cats hope to survive in this harsh world?
In a world where 'survival of the fittest' is becoming more and more true with each passing day.
year : 1
temperatures : quite chilly
prey : very hard to come by
conditions : just a few acid rain showers. any trees which are not dead are beginning to lose their leaves. showers of ash are also quite frequent.

whoops, last thing. i came onto the site on firefox one day and noticed ugly borders around most of the images on the site ! D: but don't worry, that should be fixed now and everything's back to being pretty again :3

18/06/10RUSH!? says :pollen sucks !! my exams are all over and the summer hols are here, yay !! this means that i don't have any schoolwork / revision to do, but i may still be busy >.> i will be on more frequently, though, so it's good !
the ashes will be reduced from 15 to 5 per post once i get the time to do that and a new contest is around the corner ! also, look forward to a little summer bonus ! i am going to make a summery skin hopefully as well, so keep an eye out ! ^-^
10/06/10RUSH!? says : i've finally got the census updated ( yay ! ), but it's not going to be completely accurate so if anyone notices any mistakes / wrong links, please let me know. also, i made sub-boards in the accepted area for males and females, which changes the links to your character bios now, so you're gonna have to change them in your signatures and whatnot ( unless i already have ). i may make another little contest soon, so if anyone has any ideas for one ( graphics, writing, etc. ) please pm me. and i seem to have lost all my staffers, so i'll probably be keeping an eye out. >.>
